                                                     Rust is Apparent as Team "Sucks it Up" and Posts Respectable Finish in Oregon

Despite not being able to train for close to a year, the FLEX Team persevered and managed to post a respectable showing at the "Tear'n It Up at the Town Center" TERC Regional hosted by Boring, Oregon, June 26th - 27th. The event was held at the ClackamasTown Center shopping mall in Clackamas, OR. 10 teams from the US and Canada participated in the challenge that included unlimited, limited and rapid extrication pits. The FLEX Team finished 3rd Overall, 3rd in the Limited Pit, 2nd in the Rapid Extrication Challenge and Incident Commander Jeff Coffey finished 2nd in the TOP IC category. The team will now begin preparing for the Oregon State Extrication Challenge hosted by the Dallas, OR Fire Department.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Dallas Summerfest, July 25th. Stay tuned for more information!
